앱에서 바로 제보
Report from the app
설정 화면의 제보 기능을 쓰면 앱 · 기기 정보가 함께 전달되어 원인을 찾기 쉽습니다. 보내기를 누를 때만 전송됩니다.
The report option in settings sends the app and device details along with your message, which makes the cause much easier to find. Nothing is sent until you press send.

자주 겪는 문제
PC가 목록에 보이지 않습니다
- 폰과 PC가 같은 Wi-Fi에 있는지 확인해 주세요. 게스트 네트워크나 다른 대역(2.4GHz / 5GHz가 분리된 공유기)에 있으면 서로를 찾지 못할 수 있습니다.
- PC에서 CastFi가 실행 중인지 확인해 주세요.
- Windows 방화벽에서 CastFi의 네트워크 접근이 차단되어 있지 않은지 확인해 주세요.
- 공유기의 "AP 격리" 또는 "무선 클라이언트 격리" 설정이 켜져 있으면 기기끼리 통신할 수 없습니다.
USB DAC이 인식되지 않습니다
- OTG 케이블과 DAC을 다시 연결한 뒤, Android가 표시하는 USB 기기 접근 허용 창에서 허용을 눌러주세요.
- 일부 DAC은 자체 전원이나 전원 공급이 되는 허브가 필요합니다.
- 다른 음악 앱이 DAC을 먼저 잡고 있으면 인식되지 않을 수 있습니다. 해당 앱을 종료한 뒤 다시 시도해 주세요.
- DAC이 지원하는 형식은 기기마다 다릅니다. 연결 후 앱이 표시하는 지원 형식을 확인해 주세요.
화면을 끄면 재생이 끊깁니다
- 시스템 설정 → 앱 → CastFi → 배터리에서 제한 없음(배터리 최적화 예외)으로 바꿔주세요.
- 일부 제조사의 기기는 백그라운드 앱을 적극적으로 종료합니다. 최근 앱 목록에서 CastFi를 잠금 처리하면 도움이 됩니다.
다른 음악 앱의 곡이 표시되지 않습니다
Android의 알림 접근 권한이 필요합니다. 앱 안의 안내 카드에서 설정을 열어 CastFi를 켜주세요. 허용하지 않아도 CastFi 자체 재생과 나머지 기능은 정상 동작합니다.
음악 폴더를 다시 고르고 싶습니다
설정에서 음악 폴더를 추가하거나 뺄 수 있습니다. 폴더를 빼면 그 폴더의 곡만 라이브러리에서 사라지며, 기기의 실제 파일은 삭제되지 않습니다.
통계와 오류 제보를 끄고 싶습니다
설정에서 사용 통계와 오류 자동 제보를 각각 끌 수 있습니다. 무엇이 수집되는지는 개인정보처리방침에 모두 적어두었습니다.

Common problems
My PC does not appear in the list
- Check that the phone and the PC are on the same Wi-Fi. A guest network, or a router that separates the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, can keep them from finding each other.
- Make sure CastFi is running on the PC.
- Check that Windows Firewall is not blocking CastFi's network access.
- If your router has "AP isolation" or "wireless client isolation" enabled, devices cannot talk to each other.
My USB DAC is not detected
- Reconnect the OTG cable and the DAC, then choose Allow when Android asks for permission to access the USB device.
- Some DACs need their own power supply or a powered hub.
- If another music app has already claimed the DAC, close that app and try again.
- Supported formats differ by model — check what the app reports once the DAC is connected.
Playback stops when the screen turns off
- Go to system settings → Apps → CastFi → Battery and set it to Unrestricted.
- Some manufacturers close background apps aggressively; locking CastFi in the recent-apps list helps.
Tracks from other music apps do not show up
Android's notification access permission is required. Open the settings from the prompt inside the app and enable CastFi. Without it, CastFi's own playback and every other feature still work normally.
I want to change which folders are scanned
You can add or remove music folders in settings. Removing a folder takes its tracks out of the library only — the actual files on your device are not deleted.
I want to turn off statistics and crash reports
Both usage statistics and automatic crash reports have their own switches in settings. Everything that is collected is described in the privacy policy.
