No. The phone alone plays your local library with headphone correction and USB DAC output. PC features are an optional extra when CastFi for Windows is on the same Wi-Fi.
USB Audio Class 2.0을 따르는 DAC을 지원합니다. DSD를 변환 없이 그대로 받을 수 있는지는 DAC마다 다르며, 연결하면 앱이 그 DAC이 실제로 받을 수 있는 형식을 화면에 표시합니다. OTG 연결을 지원하는 Android 기기가 필요합니다.
DACs that follow USB Audio Class 2.0. Whether a given DAC accepts DSD untouched varies by model — once connected, the app shows what that DAC can actually take. Your Android device needs to support OTG.

Android requires notification access before an app can show and control what another music app is playing. CastFi works fine without it — its own playback and the rest of the app are unaffected — and notification content is never stored or transmitted.
