요약. CastFi는 음악 재생과 음향 보정을 위한 앱입니다. 음악 파일과 라이브러리 색인은 기기 안에만 있고 서버로 올리지 않습니다. 계정은 선택 사항입니다 — 로그인 없이 앱을 쓸 수 있고, 계정을 만들 때만 이메일 주소(또는 Google 계정의 이메일)를 받습니다. 익명 사용 통계와 오류 자동 제보는 앱 설정에서 각각 끌 수 있습니다. 클라우드 저장소(OneDrive)를 연결하는 경우 등록한 폴더의 음악만 읽기 전용으로 사용하며, 그 데이터는 CastFi 서버를 거치지 않습니다(5절).

1. 수집하지 않는 정보

CastFi는 다음을 수집하지 않습니다.

이름 · 전화번호 · 생년월일 등 개인 식별 정보 (앱 이용에 계정이 필요하지 않습니다. 이메일 주소는 계정을 만들 때만 받으며 8절에 따릅니다)
주소록 · 통화 기록 · 문자 메시지
위치 정보(GPS · 정밀 위치 · 대략적 위치)
마이크 · 카메라 · 사진 및 동영상
광고 식별자. 현재 CastFi Android 앱에는 광고가 포함되어 있지 않습니다.
어떤 곡을 언제 들었는지에 대한 개인 연계 기록
기기 고유의 하드웨어 식별자(IMEI · 광고 ID · MAC 주소 등)

2. 기기 안에서만 처리되는 정보

아래 정보는 기기 내부에 저장되며 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.

음악 파일 — 사용자가 직접 선택한 폴더의 오디오 파일만 읽습니다. 기기 전체를 자동으로 훑지 않습니다. 파일 자체는 어떤 경우에도 서버로 업로드되지 않습니다.
라이브러리 색인 — 제목 · 아티스트 · 앨범 · 재생 시간 · 파일 위치 등 음악 파일에서 읽은 정보로, 기기 내부 데이터베이스에만 저장됩니다.
설정 — 음향 보정 값, 재생목록, 화면 설정, 연결한 기기 목록 등.

앱을 삭제하거나 시스템 설정에서 앱 데이터를 삭제하면 위 정보는 함께 사라집니다.

3. 앱이 요청하는 권한

CastFi가 사용하는 권한과 그 이유입니다. 필요한 시점에만 요청하며, 허용하지 않아도 해당 기능만 사용할 수 없을 뿐 앱 전체가 잠기지는 않습니다.

오디오 파일 읽기 `READ_MEDIA_AUDIO`	사용자가 선택한 폴더의 음악 파일을 읽어 재생합니다. 선택하지 않은 폴더는 읽지 않습니다.
인터넷 · 네트워크 상태 · Wi-Fi 상태 · 멀티캐스트	같은 Wi-Fi의 PC · 네트워크 플레이어 · NAS를 찾아 연결하고, 가사와 영상 정보를 조회합니다.
포그라운드 서비스 (미디어 재생 · 데이터 동기화 · 미디어 프로젝션)	화면이 꺼져 있거나 다른 앱을 쓰는 동안에도 재생과 기기 연결이 끊기지 않도록 합니다.
녹음 `RECORD_AUDIO` · 화면 공유 확인	[CastFi 사운드] 를 켰을 때만, 사용자가 고른 음악 앱의 재생 소리를 받아 보정 · 음장을 입혀 다시 내보냅니다. Android 가 이 기능에 녹음 권한과 화면 공유 확인을 요구합니다. 마이크 소리와 화면은 받지 않으며, 받은 소리는 저장되지 않으며, 사용자가 네트워크 스피커를 골라 둔 경우에만 같은 Wi-Fi 의 그 스피커로 실시간 전송됩니다. 인터넷이나 CastFi 서버로는 전송하지 않습니다. 또 다른 앱 소리가 함께 나는지 확인하려고, Android 가 공유를 허용한 재생 소리를 이 폰 안에서만 잠깐 분석합니다. 소리가 있는지와 크기만 계산하고 바로 버리며, 분석 결과도 보관하지 않습니다. 캡처를 허용하지 않은 앱의 소리는 가져오지 않습니다.
전화 상태 읽기 `READ_PHONE_STATE`	[CastFi 사운드] 사용 중 전화가 오거나 통화가 시작되면 CastFi 사운드를 끄기 위해 통화 상태만 확인합니다. 전화번호나 통화 기록은 읽지 않습니다. 허용하지 않아도 기능은 동작합니다.
절전 모드 해제	재생 중 시스템이 절전에 들어가 소리가 끊기지 않도록 합니다.
알림 표시	잠금화면과 알림 영역의 재생 컨트롤을 표시합니다.
오디오 설정 변경	볼륨과 출력 경로를 제어합니다.
기기 부팅 후 실행	재부팅한 뒤에도 PC 연결 대기 상태를 복원합니다. 설정에서 끌 수 있습니다.
배터리 최적화 예외 요청	백그라운드 재생 중 시스템이 서비스를 종료하지 않도록 사용자에게 허용을 요청합니다. 선택 사항입니다.
패키지 설치 요청	Google Play 외부에서 내려받아 설치한 버전에서 새 버전 설치를 안내할 때만 사용합니다. Google Play로 설치한 경우 업데이트는 Google Play를 통해 이루어집니다.

알림 접근(선택 사항)

다른 음악 앱에서 재생 중인 곡을 CastFi 화면과 위젯에 표시하고 제어하려면 Android의 알림 접근 권한이 필요합니다. 이 권한은 시스템 설정에서 사용자가 직접 켜야 하며, CastFi는 이를 재생 중인 미디어 세션 정보(곡 제목 · 아티스트 · 재생 상태)를 읽고 재생을 제어하는 용도로만 사용합니다. 알림 내용은 저장하지도, 외부로 전송하지도 않습니다. 허용하지 않아도 CastFi 자체 재생과 나머지 기능은 정상 동작합니다.

이 폰의 음악 공유(선택 사항)

설정 > 이 폰의 음악 공유를 켜면 같은 Wi-Fi 의 다른 CastFi 기기가 이 폰의 음악 목록(곡 정보 · 앨범 아트)을 보고 음악 파일을 스트리밍하거나 이 폰에서 재생하게 할 수 있습니다. 기본은 꺼져 있고, 집 안의 사설 네트워크에서 온 연결만 받으며, 파일 경로는 알려주지 않습니다. CastFi 의 서버나 인터넷을 거치지 않고 기기 사이에서 직접 오갑니다. 끄면 즉시 막힙니다.

4. 외부로 전송되는 정보

4-1. 가사와 영상 정보 조회

가사나 뮤직비디오를 사용할 때, 조회를 위해 곡 제목과 아티스트명이 외부 공개 서비스(가사 제공 서비스, 영상 서비스 등)에 전송됩니다. 사용자를 식별할 수 있는 정보는 함께 보내지 않으며, 해당 기능을 쓰지 않으면 전송도 일어나지 않습니다.

4-2. 익명 사용 통계 (선택 · 언제든 끌 수 있음)

기능 개선을 위해 익명 사용 통계를 수집합니다. 앱 설정에서 끌 수 있으며, 다음 항목만 전송됩니다.

이벤트 이름(예: 앱 실행) 및 발생 시각
무작위로 생성된 설치 식별자 — 개인이나 기기를 식별하지 않는 임의의 값이며, 앱을 삭제하거나 앱 데이터를 지우면 사라지고 다음 설치 때는 다른 값이 됩니다

- 연결한 USB 오디오 장치의 제조사 번호와 제품 번호(USB VID/PID, 예: 2972:0047)
- 휴대폰 모델명(예: SM-S948N)과 칩셋 이름(예: SM8850)
이 값들은 제품의 모델을 나타낼 뿐 같은 모델이면 모두 같으므로 개인을 식별하지 않습니다. 장치의 제품 이름 문자열 · 시리얼 번호 · 곡 정보 · 파일 경로는 보내지 않으며, 설치마다 하루에 보내는 횟수에 상한이 있습니다.

이 데이터는 CastFi가 직접 운영하는 수신 서버로 전송되며, 계정 정보나 사용자가 보낸 문의와 연결하지 않습니다. 수신 서버는 접속 지점을 기준으로 국가 코드 두 자리(예: KR)만 기록합니다. 판단할 수 없으면 XX로 기록하며, IP 주소 · 도시 · 지역명 · 위경도 · 통신사 정보는 저장하지 않습니다. IP는 국가 판단에만 쓰이고 어떤 형태로도 보관되지 않습니다.

4-3. 오류 자동 제보 (선택 · 언제든 끌 수 있음)

앱이 예기치 않게 종료된 경우, 원인 파악을 위해 오류 종류와 발생 위치 요약, 앱 · 운영체제 버전이 전송됩니다. 위 4-2와 동일한 익명 식별자를 사용하며, 개인 정보나 음악 파일 내용은 포함되지 않습니다. 사용 통계와 별개로 끌 수 있습니다.

4-4. 사용자가 직접 보내는 문의와 제보

앱 안에서 문제를 제보하거나 의견을 보내면, 사용자가 작성한 내용과 원인 파악에 필요한 앱 · 기기 환경 정보(앱 버전, 운영체제 버전, 기기 모델 등)가 함께 전송됩니다. 전송은 사용자가 직접 보내기를 누를 때만 이루어집니다. 이 데이터는 Supabase Inc.가 제공하는 인프라에 저장되며, 문의 응대와 결함 수정 목적으로만 사용합니다.

5. 기기 사이의 연결

같은 Wi-Fi의 PC · 네트워크 플레이어 · NAS와 주고받는 음악과 제어 신호는 기기 사이에서 직접 오갑니다. CastFi의 서버를 거치지 않으며, 그 내용은 외부에 저장되지 않습니다.

집 밖에서 자신의 PC에 연결하는 원격 기능을 사용하는 경우, 두 기기가 서로를 찾기 위한 연결 정보만 중개 서버를 거치며, 음악 데이터 자체는 사용자의 두 기기 사이에서 직접 전송됩니다. 이 기능은 사용자가 직접 기기를 등록했을 때만 동작합니다.

Android 앱에 NAS(네트워크 저장소)를 등록할 때 입력한 로그인 정보는, 사용자가 저장을 선택한 경우에만 그 기기의 보안 저장소에 암호화되어 보관되며 CastFi의 서버나 다른 곳으로 전송되지 않습니다. NAS와의 연결은 같은 네트워크(또는 사용자가 직접 설정한 VPN) 안에서 기기와 NAS 사이에 직접 이루어집니다.

클라우드 저장소 연결 (OneDrive · 선택 사항)

사용자가 Android 앱에서 OneDrive 계정을 CastFi에 연결하는 경우, CastFi는 사용자가 등록한 음악 폴더 아래의 오디오 파일을 읽기 전용으로 사용합니다. 클라우드의 파일을 수정 · 삭제 · 공유하는 기능은 없습니다.

사용 목적 — 등록한 폴더의 음악 목록 만들기(제목 · 아티스트 등 태그와 앨범 아트 읽기), 이후 추가 · 이름 변경 · 이동 · 삭제를 반영하는 동기화, 재생과 탐색(seek), 사용자가 고른 곡의 오프라인 사본 저장. 이 밖의 용도로 쓰지 않습니다.
직접 전송 — 파일 목록과 음악 데이터는 Microsoft의 서버와 사용자 기기 사이에서 직접 오가며, CastFi의 서버를 거치거나 CastFi 서버에 저장되지 않습니다.
기기에 저장되는 것 — 등록 폴더 아래의 파일 목록(파일 식별자 · 이름 · 크기 · 버전), 음악 태그와 앨범 아트, 사용자가 받은 오프라인 사본. 모두 이 기기 안에만 있습니다.
로그인 정보 — OneDrive 로그인 정보는 이 기기의 보안 저장소에 암호화해 보관하며, CastFi 서버로 보내지 않습니다.
권한 범위 — Microsoft의 'OneDrive 파일 열기' 권한은 등록한 폴더에만 씁니다. CastFi는 사용자가 등록한 폴더 아래의 음악 파일만 읽습니다.
사용하지 않는 것 — 클라우드에서 받은 데이터를 광고, 분석, AI · 머신러닝 모델 학습에 쓰지 않으며, 판매하거나 제3자에게 넘기지 않습니다. 사용자가 문의 · 제보에 직접 담아 보낸 경우, 보안 목적, 법적 의무를 제외하고 사람이 그 내용을 열람하지 않습니다.
연결 해제 — 앱의 클라우드 저장소 화면에서 계정을 제거하면 그 계정의 폴더 등록과 파일 목록이 기기에서 지워집니다. 받아 둔 오프라인 사본과 클라우드의 원본 파일은 그대로 남습니다. Microsoft 계정의 앱 권한 페이지에서도 언제든 접근 권한을 해제할 수 있습니다.

6. 외부 음악 서비스

Windows용 CastFi에서 Spotify · YouTube Music · Apple Music 등 외부 음악 서비스를 이용하는 경우, 로그인은 각 서비스에 직접 이루어지며 해당 서비스의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다. CastFi는 사용자의 로그인 정보를 자체 서버로 전송하지 않습니다.

7. 제3자 제공

CastFi는 수집한 정보를 판매하지 않으며, 광고 목적으로 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 서비스 운영에 필요한 범위에서 다음 사업자의 인프라를 이용합니다.

8. 보관 기간과 삭제

기기에 저장된 정보(음악 색인 · 설정)는 앱을 삭제하거나 앱 데이터를 지우면 즉시 사라집니다.
익명 사용 통계와 오류 기록은 통계 목적으로 보관되며, 개인을 식별할 수 없어 개별 삭제 대상이 되지 않습니다. 수집을 원하지 않으면 앱 설정에서 끄면 이후 전송이 중단됩니다.
사용자가 직접 보낸 문의 · 제보는 응대가 끝난 뒤 보관 목적이 사라지면 삭제합니다. 그 전에 삭제를 원하면 support@castplan.net으로 요청해 주세요.

계정 정보

계정은 선택 사항이며, 만들 때 이메일 주소와 로그인 정보(비밀번호는 복원 불가능한 형태로만 저장 · Google 로그인 시 Google 이 전달하는 이메일과 계정 식별자)와 가입·로그인 시각을 저장합니다. 이 정보는 로그인 유지, 구매한 이용권 확인, 문의 응대에만 씁니다.

계정 정보는 Supabase Inc.(미국)가 운영하는 서버에 저장·처리됩니다. 이는 개인정보의 국외 이전에 해당하며, 이전되는 항목은 위 계정 정보이고 목적은 계정 인증과 이용권 관리, 보유 기간은 아래 삭제 시점까지입니다.

계정 삭제

계정은 앱 안(설정 › 계정 › 계정 삭제)에서, 또는 앱을 다시 설치하지 않고 castfi.castplan.net/delete-account 에서 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제하면 계정(로그인 정보), 이메일 주소, 이용 권한 기록, 체험 기록이 즉시 삭제되며 되돌릴 수 없습니다.

삭제 후에도 보관되는 것. 구매 복원을 위해 최소한의 결제 기록(구매 확인 토큰 등 결제 원장)과 그에 연결된 비식별 결제 식별자(로그인 정보로 계산한 일방향 값으로, 그 자체로는 개인을 식별할 수 없습니다)는 계정 삭제 후에도 보관됩니다. 같은 주소로 다시 가입하면 구매한 이용권이 복원됩니다. 결제 기록은 전자상거래 관련 법령이 정한 기간 동안 보관됩니다.

계정을 만들지 않은 경우 삭제할 계정도 없으며, 앱을 삭제하면 기기에 남는 데이터가 없습니다.

9. 아동의 개인정보

CastFi는 아동을 주 대상으로 하는 앱이 아니며, 아동으로부터 의도적으로 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 아동의 정보가 전송되었다고 판단되는 경우 위 문의처로 알려주시면 확인 후 삭제하겠습니다.

10. 방침의 변경

이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 개정 내용과 날짜를 게시합니다. 중요한 변경은 앱 안에서도 안내합니다.

In short. CastFi is an app for music playback and sound tuning. Your music files and library index stay on the device and are never uploaded. An account is optional — the app works without signing in, and only when you create one do we ask for an email address (or the email of your Google account). Anonymous usage statistics and automatic crash reports can each be switched off in the app's settings. If you connect cloud storage (OneDrive), CastFi reads only the music in the folders you add, read-only, and that data never passes through CastFi servers (section 5).

1. What we do not collect

CastFi does not collect any of the following.

Personal identifiers such as name, phone number or date of birth — the app requires no account. An email address is collected only if you create an account (see section 8).
Contacts, call logs or messages.
Location of any kind (GPS, precise or approximate).
Microphone, camera, photos or videos.
Advertising identifiers. The CastFi Android app currently contains no advertising.
Any record linking you personally to what you listened to and when.
Persistent hardware identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, MAC address and the like).

2. Information processed only on your device

The following stays on the device and is never transmitted.

Music files — CastFi reads audio only from folders you select yourself. It does not scan the whole device automatically, and the files themselves are never uploaded to any server.
Library index — title, artist, album, duration and file location read from your files, stored in a database inside the app.
Settings — sound correction values, playlists, display preferences and the list of devices you have connected.

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in system settings, removes all of it.

3. Permissions the app requests

These are the permissions CastFi uses and why. Each is requested when it is actually needed; declining one disables only the related feature rather than locking the app.

Read audio files `READ_MEDIA_AUDIO`	To read and play the music in the folders you selected. Folders you did not select are not read.
Internet, network state, Wi-Fi state, multicast	To discover and connect to a PC, network player or NAS on the same Wi-Fi, and to look up lyrics and video information.
Foreground service (media playback, data sync, media projection)	So playback and device connections survive while the screen is off or you are using another app.
Record audio `RECORD_AUDIO` and the screen-share prompt	Only while [CastFi sound] is on, to take the playback sound of the music app you chose, apply your correction and effects, and play it back out. Android requires the record-audio permission and the screen-share prompt for this. The microphone and the screen are not captured, and the sound is never stored. It is streamed live only to a network speaker you picked on the same Wi-Fi — never to the internet or CastFi servers. To check whether another app is playing at the same time, CastFi also briefly analyzes, on this phone only, playback audio Android allows to be shared. Only whether there is sound and how loud is calculated and immediately discarded; results are not kept. Audio from apps that don’t allow capture is never taken.
Read phone state `READ_PHONE_STATE`	Only to see the call state, so [CastFi sound] turns itself off when a call rings or starts. Phone numbers and call history are not read. The feature works without it.
Wake lock	To keep the system from sleeping mid-track and interrupting the sound.
Post notifications	To show playback controls on the lock screen and in the notification shade.
Modify audio settings	To control volume and the output route.
Run at boot	To restore the "waiting for your PC" state after a restart. Can be turned off in settings.
Request battery optimisation exemption	To ask you to allow uninterrupted background playback. Entirely optional.
Request package install	Used only by builds installed from outside Google Play, to offer a new version. Installations from Google Play are updated through Google Play.

Notification access (optional)

Android requires notification access before an app can show and control what another music app is playing. CastFi uses it only to read the active media session (track title, artist, playback state) and to send playback commands. Notification content is neither stored nor transmitted. Without this permission, CastFi's own playback and every other feature continue to work normally.

Sharing this phone's music (optional)

When you turn on Settings > Share this phone's music, other CastFi devices on the same Wi-Fi can see this phone's music list (track details and album art), stream the files, or have them play on this phone. It is off by default, accepts connections only from your private home network, and never reveals file paths. Everything goes directly between your devices — not through CastFi's servers or the internet. Turning it off blocks access immediately.

4. Information sent outside the device

4-1. Lyrics and video lookup

When you use lyrics or music video features, the track title and artist name are sent to public third-party services to perform the lookup. Nothing identifying you is sent with them, and no request is made if you do not use those features.

4-2. Anonymous usage statistics (optional, can be turned off)

To improve the app we collect anonymous statistics. This can be switched off in settings, and only the following is transmitted.

The event name (for example, app opened) and the time it occurred.
A randomly generated installation identifier — an arbitrary value that identifies neither you nor your device. It disappears when the app is uninstalled or its data cleared, and a different value is generated next time.
A session identifier that is regenerated after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Operating system name and version, app version, and language setting.
When an exclusive playback session through a USB audio device (USB DAC) ends in the Android app, a summary of that session, used to improve playback stability across USB audio devices and phone models:
- The playback path (PCM, native DSD or DoP), the outcome (normal, recovered, stalled, rejected or error) and a short reason code.
- The playback duration band (under 5 seconds, 5–60 seconds, 60–600 seconds or over 600 seconds) and the number of automatic recoveries.
- The vendor and product numbers of the connected USB audio device (USB VID/PID, for example 2972:0047).
- The phone model name (for example SM-S948N) and chipset name (for example SM8850).
These values describe product models and are the same for everyone with the same model, so they do not identify you. The device's product name string, serial number, track information and file paths are not sent, and the number of these summaries sent per installation per day is capped.

This data goes to a receiving server operated by CastFi and is not linked to any account or to messages you send us. The server records a two-letter country code (for example KR) determined at the point of connection, or XX when it cannot be determined. IP address, city, region, coordinates and carrier details are not stored. The IP is used only to determine the country and is never retained in any form.

4-3. Automatic crash reports (optional, can be turned off)

If the app terminates unexpectedly, the error type, a summary of where it occurred, and the app and OS versions are sent so the fault can be found. It uses the same anonymous identifiers as 4-2 and contains no personal information and no content from your music files. It can be turned off separately from usage statistics.

4-4. Messages and reports you send yourself

When you report a problem or send feedback from inside the app, what you wrote is transmitted along with environment details needed to investigate (app version, OS version, device model). This happens only when you press send. The data is stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase Inc. and is used solely to answer you and to fix the defect.

5. Connections between your devices

Music and control signals exchanged with a PC, network player or NAS on the same Wi-Fi travel directly between the devices. They do not pass through a CastFi server and their content is not stored anywhere else.

If you use the remote feature to reach your own PC from outside your home, only the connection details the two devices need to find each other pass through an intermediary; the music itself is transferred directly between your two devices. The feature works only for devices you have registered yourself.

When you add a NAS (network storage) in the Android app, the sign-in details you enter are kept only if you choose to save them, encrypted in that device’s secure storage, and are never sent to a CastFi server or anywhere else. The connection to the NAS is made directly between the device and the NAS on the same network (or a VPN you set up yourself).

Cloud storage (OneDrive · optional)

If you connect a OneDrive account to CastFi in the Android app, CastFi uses the audio files under the music folders you add, read-only. CastFi has no feature that modifies, deletes or shares your cloud files.

Purpose — building the song list for the folders you add (reading tags such as title and artist, and album art), keeping it in sync with later additions, renames, moves and deletions, playback and seeking, and saving offline copies of songs you choose. CastFi does not use this data for anything else.
Direct transfer — file lists and music data travel directly between Microsoft’s servers and your device. They do not pass through, and are not stored on, CastFi servers.
What stays on the device — the list of files under your added folders (file ID, name, size, version), music tags and album art, and any offline copies you download. All of it stays on this device only.
Sign-in — OneDrive sign-in details are kept encrypted in this device’s secure storage and are never sent to a CastFi server.
Scope of access — Microsoft’s ‘Open your OneDrive files’ permission is used only for the folders you add. CastFi only reads music files under the folders you add.
What we never do — data received from your cloud storage is not used for advertising, analytics, or training AI or machine-learning models, and is never sold or transferred to third parties. No person reads it, except where you include it in a message or report you send us, for security purposes, or to comply with the law.
Disconnecting — removing the account in the app’s cloud storage screen deletes that account’s folders and file list from the device. Offline copies you downloaded and the original files in your cloud storage stay as they are. You can also revoke access at any time in your Microsoft account’s app permissions.

6. External music services

When CastFi for Windows is used with services such as Spotify, YouTube Music or Apple Music, you sign in to each service directly and that service's own privacy policy applies. CastFi does not send your sign-in details to any server of its own.

7. Sharing with third parties

CastFi does not sell the information it collects and does not share it with third parties for advertising. The following providers supply infrastructure needed to run the service.

Supabase Inc. — storage and handling of messages and reports you send yourself.
Lyrics and video providers — lookups by track title and artist name, when you use those features.

8. Retention and deletion

Information stored on the device (library index, settings) disappears the moment you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Anonymous statistics and crash records are retained for aggregate analysis. Because they cannot identify an individual, they cannot be deleted on request; turning the setting off stops any further transmission.
Messages and reports you sent are deleted once they are no longer needed to answer you. To have them removed sooner, write to support@castplan.net.

Account information

An account is optional. When you create one we store your email address and sign-in credentials (a password only in an irreversible form; with Google sign-in, the email and account identifier Google provides) together with sign-up and sign-in timestamps. This information is used only to keep you signed in, to verify purchased plans and to answer your requests.

Account information is stored and processed on servers operated by Supabase Inc. (United States). This is a transfer of personal data abroad: the items transferred are the account information above, the purpose is authentication and plan management, and it is retained until deletion as described below.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account inside the app (Settings › Account › Delete account) or, without reinstalling, at castfi.castplan.net/delete-account. Deletion immediately removes the account (sign-in identity), email address, entitlement records and trial record, and cannot be undone.

What is kept after deletion. So that purchases can be restored, a minimal payment ledger (such as purchase verification tokens) and the pseudonymous billing identifier tied to them (a one-way value derived from the sign-in identity that does not identify you on its own) are retained after the account is deleted. Sign up again with the same address and purchased plans are restored. Payment records are kept for the period required by e-commerce law.

If you never created an account there is nothing to delete, and uninstalling leaves nothing behind on the device.

9. Children

CastFi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child's information has been sent to us, contact us at the address above and we will verify and delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revision and its date are published on this page. Significant changes are also announced inside the app.
